Activities

The IZUMI Eco Tour Guides were established on the occasion of registering the "Izumi Wintering Habitat of Cranes" as a Ramsar Convention Wetland in November 2021. Mainly composed of students who completed the eco-tourism guide training course organized by Izumi City, they are working to promote the region.
Currently, they are primarily engaged in activities such as guiding eco-tours to observe cranes and other wild birds in the city of Izumi.
What's more, each member strives to guide visitors by utilizing their own special skills. They hope to make the most of Izumi City's unique charms, such as its nature, history, and culture, while also aiming to protect and preserve Izumi's appeal so that it will not be damaged through guiding.
